It is impossible to predict with accuracy the demand for appointments so it is necessary for us to try to plan by setting up different types of appointments. These are the types of appointments we provide; times may vary. If you need to be seen on the day, please phone between 08:30 and 10:30 for a morning appointment and between 14:00 and 16:00 for an afternoon appointment.
Triage is the action of deciding the order of treatment of patients. At Wareham Surgery we ask you to provide us with some basic information so that we can carry this out. All problems are triaged by a clinician usually on the same day or within 48 hours. The clinician decides who should contact the patient, when, and how (whether by telephone or a face to face consultation), and the necessary arrangements are made.
