Help us to keep our practice records up to date

Don’t become a GP “ghost patient”

We are asking all patients to help us keep our practice records accurate and up to date.

From time to time, NHS England/Primary Care Support England (PCSE) carries out checks to confirm that patients are still living at their registered address and should remain on their GP practice list.

You may be contacted if, for example, you have not had contact with the practice for some time, have not responded to screening or other NHS correspondence, or there is uncertainty about your address.

If you receive a letter or message asking you to confirm your details, please do not ignore it. Follow the instructions and respond within the timeframe given. If your details cannot be confirmed, you may eventually be removed from the practice list and need to re-register.

You do not need to book an appointment simply because you haven’t seen us for a long time. We just need to make sure we have your correct details.

Keeping our patient list accurate also helps make sure important information about screening, vaccinations and your healthcare reaches you.
